I think that this Taxedo picture has plenty of information about Louis Riel how he was back in the day like how he was the main leader of the metis peoples and the French. This picture describes a lot about who he was, what he did, what he discovered and how he was a main role back in the day. He was a Politician. Many people say that he is a traitor in their own opinion, my opinion I think he is a hero, Louis Riel was the Canadian Leader who founded, and he was a great rebellion his hometown is also in Manitoba my hometown province. I think that this blog should have more detail. It had some excellent detail about him tho.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Riel
I really like this image! I believe it's a very creative way to display the characteristics of Louis Riel and what he was involved in. The words it displays creates opportunities for others to learn about him very easily. It made me think that each word must be carefully chosen to maintain his image (no pun intended) as a historical figure. Its a good thing that you stuck to facts about him because I believe that personal opinions about him would have made the photo a less informative representation of the man. I really enjoyed the artistic edge taken on by this post and it just made me wonder if you preferred learning though images or through unfiltered information. If so, here’s a link that tells all about Louis Riel… with more words, haha. (Copy and paste link to check it out) http://www.biographi.ca/en/bio/riel_louis_1844_85_11E.html
I really like your Tagxedo. I find that it has a lot of very good detailed descriptive words that describe Louis Riel very well and when read, portray his life very well. I personally believe that Louis Riel is no traitor and that he IS a hero. It looks good however like mine, I think if you were to format it differently the words (especially the smaller words) would be able to be noticed and read better. I found a really good biography about Louis Riel that I think you should check out to see more about him (http://www.biographi.ca/en/bio/riel_louis_1844_85_11E.html). Overall it’s a really nice blog post.
I thought the word splash you created is very well done and creative and I thought the words you used in this word splash where very descriptive and creative. You really captured who and what kind of person louis’ riel is in the words you used. I thought that the way you made the picture look neatly done. I also found it interesting how you included word to also describe his personal life. it also shows what the politics were like back then and how he helped the metis people. You should take a look at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5YrtvO7FDs louis riel it has some really good information.
