  1. Sir Wilfred Laurier was Canada's 7th prime minister, but the first French Canadien one. Perhaps the most important thing he did was when he had to deal with the Manitoba Schools question, which is the event you captured in your fake tweet. Tomas Greenway, who lead the Manitoba Legislature, decided it would be best to get rid of the two different types of school in Manitoba(English/protastant and French/catholic schools) and created one english speaking school system. This was wrong to do because the two different schools were promised to Manitoba through the Manitoba Act. Greenway and Laurier compromised by deciding the schools could have religious classes in both regions and both languages would be offered. I think you did a good job of summarizing this event.
