  1. Hello fellow classmate. Nice Tagxedo. Also, I really like the picture choice, it is an easy one on the eyes thats for sure ! One of the words that stood out to me, with my knowledge on Louis was, "Rupert's". That is excellent because I remember in class when we discussed how he bought many shares from the Hudson's Bay Company to have land in Ruperts land for settlers ! I also spotted the word, "Founder" more than once in your tagxedo. I think that is great because this point is a really important one. Not to mention, it's just another reason for us to appreciate him for what he has done for us. He was the founder four very province. Who knows where we would be or how Manitoba would be to this day if it wasn't for him. It's sure something to think about. Also, you mentioned the word, "Brave" and I couldn't agree more. He was proud, he should be, he fought and died for what he believed in. That must have been a struggle but he never gave up. I noticed you used the word, "Hung". I was hoping you would include this one because this is how our hero died after everything he did for us. Sydney, You have a ton of great words to describe Louis Riel and his life, I'm impressed and I'm sure you got a great mark on this because it is well deserved !! Here is a link to another classmates tagxedo on him so you can see what other words they have used to describe him. WAY TO GO SYD!!!!! https://canadianhistorytoldbyus.blogspot.ca/2018/01/louis-riel-tagxedo.html

  2. Hello Sydney! Nice tagxeto! I like The picture you ended up using. It is a very nice picture. I like the colours you used, very nice touch. One word that stood out the most to me was “rebel”. That’s one thing he was for sure but he did it out of the good for the people. He went against what people believed because he could see what would be best for those who didn’t have a voice to speak up for themsleves. He became that voice for them. He was hero no doubt for the Métis. He did so much and no wonder he is such a big part of history, This reminds me of when we talked about wheather or not he was a hero or not and to me he is. Another word that stood out the most to me was “fighting”. This is because he fought so hard for what he believed in and wanted a better future of the Métis people. He fought so much that he gave up his life for his beliefs. That is something not many people would do. He fought for the better of the people and he wasn’t just doing it for himself. He wanted to make the best for those around him and that is something very few people have the guts to do.Lastly the word that popped out to me was “brave”. He was brave because lots of people didn’t believe he could do what e did. So many people were against what he was fighting for but he kept going anyways. I have lots of respect for people who fight as hard as he did. I’m glad you added that into your blog post because he was brave and no doubt about that. You picked lost of good words Sydney! I an Very impressed by this months blog. Way to be! I’m sure you got a great mark the mark you deserved!! I left A link to another blog post just like yours to see the different words hey picked and compare to the ones you picked. This way you could see he different words that they picked! Keep up the great blogging! https://canadianhistorytoldbyus.blogspot.ca/2017/12/louis-riel-tagxdo-dec-post.html?m=0#links
